100% Hawaiian Coffees:  100% Kona coffee, 100% Maui Mokka coffee, 100% Kau coffee

Maui Mokka is grown in Maui, Hawaii.  Hawaii’s Big Island has six coffee growing regions:  Kona, Ka’u, Puna, Hilo, Hamakua and Kohala.  Pooki’s Mahi’s collection of award-winning Hawaiian coffee single serves are made with 100% Kona coffee, 100% Maui Mokka and 100% Kau coffee. Hawaiian coffees are known for its high grade (low acidity) and hints of chocolate, caramel and citrus.  We do not flavor our 100% Kona coffees, 100% Maui Mokka coffees or 100% Kau coffees. Pooki’s Mahi’s 10% Kona flavored coffee cups indicates the flavor and percentage of Kona coffee used.  Our flavored 10% Kona coffees are blended with coffee beans from South America and Latin America.

Kau coffee
Pooki’s Mahi’s 100% Kau coffee single serve cups are made from 100 percent Ka’u coffee beans harvested from Kau, Big Island.  The Kau coffee region is located on the south of the Big Island, Hawaii.  Kau coffee gained global recognition by consistently winning multiple top ten awards: Coffee of the Year, Grand Champion of Hawaiian Coffee, Outstanding Producer of the Year and Roaster of the Year.  2011 Specialty Coffee Association of America Cupping Competition (SCAA) ranked Kau coffee ranked as the top coffee region globally.

Kona coffee
The Kona coffee region is located on the west side of the Big Island, Hawaii.  Pooki’s Mahi’s 100% Kona coffee pods are made from 100 percent Kona coffee beans grown on a family owned and operated farm established in 1997 in Kona, Hawaii. The 100% Kona coffee beans selected have won multiple awards including landing on Forbes Top 50 Best list(s).

Our coffee manufacturer sources 100% Kona coffee beans from various farmers Kona, Hawaiian based farmers in addition to the family owned and operated farm that meet high quality standards and roasts them to spec at the manufacturing headquarters in Oahu, Hawaii. Pooki’s Mahi’s coffee manufacture roasts the largest amount of 100% Kona coffee beans.

Pooki’s Mahi offers five 100% Kona coffee cups in its entire product line: 100% Kona Medium Roast, 100% Kona coffee - Estate Extra Fancy, 100% Kona coffee – Peaberry, 100% Kona coffee – French Roast, and 100% Kona coffee, Decaf.

Sustainable Pods - 100% Recyclable Cup

Pooki’s Mahi’s 100% Kona coffees, 100% Maui Mokka coffees and 100% Kau coffees are exclusively packed in a cup composed of 99% mesh and 1% out of #5 recyclable plastic.  The cups single serve pods technology is superior and the most eco-friendly packing single serve option.  Each single serve cup filter holds up to 13 grams of 100% Hawaiian coffees.  The mesh filter allows customers to see and smell the freshness the moment each individually wrapped cup is opened.  The mesh filter design enables better coffee extraction to bring out the natural flavors by allowing significantly more water flow through the coffee grind.  The #5 plastic is made from 100% Polypropylene and is fully recyclable.

Pooki’s Mahi’s Kona coffee single serve cups pods work in most 1.0 and 2.0 single serve makers(Kitchen-Aide®, Bunn®, Breville®, Cuisinart® and others)  

100% Recyclable Individual Film Wrapper

Pooki’s Mahi’s individual film wrapper is 100 percent recyclable and approved to wrap tea or coffee pods or single serve cups filled with Kona coffee.  The thin airtight wrapper ensure customers can easily open our 100% Kona coffee cups.  Our airtight wrapper locks in the aroma and freshness for up to 15 months.  The film wrappers provide superior oxygen barrier. An expiration date and LOT code are printed on the back side of the wrapper.  Pooki’s Mahi’s 100% Kona coffee single serve cups pods have instructions on how to brew, ingredient statement, nutrition label and compatible single serve cups brewers.
