The goal is to provide high quality, flavorful custom fusion black teas at an affordable price to existing and new customers. Teas in the Black Tea Fusions Collection are distinct in origin, flavor and will transform a classic black tea into a kick-starter elixir.
Pooki’s Mahi introduced the Black Tea Fusions Collection as a pilot program in 2013. Customers provided feedback on taste, smell, packaging, pricing and distribution. Master brewers improved classic black teas (like an Earl Grey) with unique ingredients for a distinctive flavor. Suggestions to improving packaging such as adding instructions that resonated with tea aficionados and new drinkers were implemented.
The newly designed standup pouch packaging for award-winning teas in Pooki’s Mahi’s Black Tea Fusions Collection uses icons for instructions, caffeine level, and total cups brewed per package. Each standup pouch also includes the serving size per 8oz. of water, tea form (loose leaf or pyramid sachet) and ingredients list. Implementing these improvements helps customer make better buying choices.
Teas in Pooki’s Mahi’s Black Tea Collection can be purchased as a subscription and also be part of Pooki’s Mahi’s Customer Referral Program. Customers can earn monetary rewards and save even more by referring friends and colleagues to purchase a tea subscription on Pooki’s Mahi.
“Out of this world teas! Quality you can taste and enjoy! We ordered Pooki’s Mahi’s Lychee Peach tea (2oz.), Passion Fruit Jasmine (2oz.), and Earl Grey Crème (2oz.) – all award-winning teas. Was very surprised at how quickly my tea came in and how well it was packed. The Lychee Peach tea itself comes with a metal canister similar to the ones you purchase from Teavana but this one is free with the tea! Pooki’s Mahi offered this tea initially in the tins as part of the pilot program. The Passion Fruit Jasmine and Earl Grey Crème teas came in a green standup re-usable zip lock standup pouch. For the Lychee Peach tea since it came in the tin, I provided Pooki’s Mahi feedback to add brewing instructions and an opportunity to purchase the tins on its own. I decided to brew for 3 minutes and I used 1 teaspoon per cup. The tea leaves didn’t open and expand like how I thought they would so I was worried I had done something wrong. However the result was a nice smooth fruity tea. Pooki’s Mahi incorporate our feedback. The new green standup pouch packaging pops has instructions on how to brew the tea and includes the ingredients list. I am very impressed and I plan to buy more tea from this company.”
