NEWS: Pooki’s Mahi Launches Two Environmentally Friendly 100% Kona Coffee Decaf Single Serves

Pooki’s Mahi announced today it launched two additional decaf Kona coffee pods to give its customers options: 100% Kona coffee Decaf and 10% Kona coffee Vanilla Macadamia Nut Decaf flavored coffees. Kona coffees were decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Decaf process.

“A lot of planning went into Pooki’s Mahi’s new product line, sustainable single serves for 100% Kona coffees and flavored 10% Kona coffees. I spent a lot of time listening to Pooki’s Mahi’s customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners and my executiveadvisors. We incorporated feedback from our distributors to protect the product, make it eco-friendly and easy to access. From our repeat customers we added a stronger roast and the ability to smell the coffee. Our wholesalers wanted additional flavors and roast levels without sacrificing quality,” explains Pooki’s Mahi’s CEO Les Magsalay-Zeller.

Les continues, “Pooki’s Mahi’s sustainable single serve product line was a concept in 2012. It has taken nearly three years to launch 11 new 100% Kona and 10% Kona flavored coffees that is 97% biodegradable and individually wrapped.”

• 100% Kona Decaf coffee pods, 24-count: Pooki’s Mahi’s award-winning 100% Kona coffee Decaf pods single serve cups are handpicked, sun-dried and roasted in Oahu. Our medium roast is chestnut brown in color producing a delicate and mild coffee.
• 100% Kona Coffee, Vanilla Macadamia Nut Decaf pods, 24-count: Pooki’s Mahi 10% Kona Coffee Vanilla Macadamia single serve cups saunters out onto the stage and takes the microphone in one velvet-gloved hand to croon a sweet melody of vine-ripened vanilla and exotic macadamia nuts.

Pooki’s Mahi’s new Kona decaf coffees in sustainable single serve form will be priced $47.99 USD. The price includes 24 individually wrapped single serves. Both decaffeinated Hawaiian Kona coffees were roasted in machines that are not in contact with wheat/gluten, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, eggs, milk or soy. Shipping to the Lower 48 States is included. The new products are compatible with Keurig® coffee pod single serve cups brewers.
