Pooki's Mahi custom promotional products and private label pods pricing includes the price of the single serve coffee pod, 100% Kona coffee, 2.0 single serve coffee maker lidding film, nitrogen flushing, co-packing, QA waste, set up fee, fulfillment, shipping to destination, bill of lading (BOL), palletizing, pouch production. Pricing does not include additional private label services like custom box design, product labels, press releases or hiring a custom box designer.

Pooki's Mahi Custom Single Serves are for customers looking for a low cost solution to gifting, promote an event or add Kona coffee pods into corporate kitchens or luxury accommodations.

Customer is on a tight budget.

What's Included:
Customer designs the front panel of the pouch.
- (24) Semi-custom designed individually wrapped Hawaiian Kona coffee pods with Pooki's Mahi's product name, ingredients list, expiration date and LOT code for each coffee pod.

- Packaged with Pooki's Mahi's UPC, SKU and ecommerce shipping box. Copacking assembly included.

What's Not Included:
Custom designed retail unit box, design services for product label, film or retail unit boxes, product marketing assets or collateral

Private Label Products Specs

Pooki's Mahi pods lids are compatible with 1.0 and 2.0 single serve coffee makers compatible and are made from Polypropylene #5 plastic, fully recyclable. The lids are not fully compostable. For an additional charge per pod, a 100% compostable lid made from paper, corn based PLA and BPI certified compostable is available. Lid adheres to all American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM) standards for compostability.

Additional Cost: Customize 2.0 single serve coffee maker lids Pooki's Mahi's coffee pods lids can be customized in any PMS color up to (6) colors per lid. Estimated costs: $450.00 / color + $150.00 / plate charge. Minimum Order: 500K lids / lid design. Lead Time: 3 weeks for reorders - no design change Expiration dates can be imprinted on lids. 2.0 single serve coffee makers lids use three "common" colors: Orange (PMS Bright Orange, PMS 1505, PMS 2018, PMS 2028), Red (PMS 2035, PMS 199), and Brown PMS 1535. White or black are considered ONE color.

Pooki's Mahi does not recommend customizing lids due to the high cost. Lids are a one time (non-refundable) cost. Pooki's Mahi recommends using a generic clear lid with the approved tannin.

Private Label Single Serves & Film Specs

Sustainable pod material: Individually wrapped pods made from 97% mesh material, 1% #5 plastic (100% recyclable) for freshness with expiration date and LOT code for each coffee pod. The mesh cups allows customers to smell the Kona coffee and provides a better brew. 

High Barrier Film: Pooki's Mahi coffee pods are wrapped in high barrier silver fractional pack film made from matte 48ga PET White Metalized Polyster. 4 millimeter Polyethylene film that is easy to tear, excellent barrier against oxygen and moisture.

$0 plate cost, $0 tooling charge: Design up to 8 colors per pouch design.
Lead Time: 4-6weeks after Pooki's Mahi receives approval on final artwork.

Private Label Single Serves require: UPC Certificate, Product label, ingredients list, SKU and product name. Custom Promotional Products will have Pooki's Mahi's product name, UPC, ingredients list, and SKU.

Pooki's Mahi recommends imprinting expiration date and LOT codes on the individual wrapper.

Private Label Coffee - BYOC (Bring Your Own Coffee)

Pooki's Mahi specializes in 100% Kona coffee pods and award-winning teas single serves. Pooki's Mahi patented framework to launch new products to market ensures our supply chain is consistent. We are selective on which new customers we will allow to bring their own coffee.

Private Label Coffee - BYOC Pods Pricing

Customers must have established sales channels and a Bill of Material (BOM) template that includes ops sequences (like specific grams per pod). Pooki's Mahi will not work with customers bringing their own 100% Hawaiian coffee. Pooki's Mahi has agreements to ensure 100% Hawaiian coffee (100% Kona coffee is harvested and roasted in Hawaii).

Cost Breakdown:Pooki's Mahi charges by the touch cost. Most touch costs are included at the cup level. The cup price includes (but not limited to) the following touch costs:

- Pallet ($3.00/pallet), Pallet wrapping ($2.50/pallet), New Pallet ($6.00) - Bill of Lading/Invoice processing ($3.50 per BOL) - Case Stacking ($0.18/case) - Floor unloaded-inbound shipments: $20.00/hr (minimum of $100.00) - LTL/TL shipping (estimate $5000 +/- per 1 pallet) - Copacking assembly.

Pooki's Mahi does notoutsource copacking to third party fulfillment houses or store (warehouse) private label single serve orders. Our competitors outsource copacking to third party parties that might provide a good social story. This leads to very poor quality control. Pooki's Mahi private label manufacturing adheres to strict First Article Inspections (FAI) processes.

1. How does Pooki's Mahi define custom promotional products customers from private label customers?
Custom promotional products customers design single serves to give away to employees as a corporate gift, marketing gift or to help launch an event or product line. Private Label products customers will design and resell coffee pods into established sales channels.

2. May I pay for private label pods orders through an "I-O-U" or "Cash On Demand?"
No. We will not start reviewing private label coffee, private label tea, private label products or custom promotional product order(s) until customer pays the order in full per Pooki's Mahi policy.

3. Why provide the pricing details? Seriously - Can I talk to someone about a potentially "big" order?
Submit an order. Pooki's Mahi Private Label Products & Custom Promotional Products platform was designed to answer all questions with detailed information on requirements, pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQ), lead times, and single serve manufacturing capabilities. Pooki's Mahi Customer Success Center has detailed answers. Send queries via our Customer Success Center. "Big orders" never materialize from customers that aggressively look to speak to someone.

4. Can Pooki's Mahi manufacture "powder" in single serves? How do I obtain samples?
Yes - Not recommended. Pooki's Mahi can manufacture "powdered" soluables into non-mesh plastic pods. Examples: Matcha tea, soups like bone broth, chai tea with milk, cocoa with milk.  We do not recommend this solution - you're killing the environment. Single serve coffee maker of low quality black or white or cups with (lead) lids confirms the cups are not recyclable. Soluable products does not brew well in mesh cups. Pooki's Mahi refuses to manufacture sub-par quality single serve tea or coffee pods.

5. I was referred to Pooki's Mahi. I have my own coffee. What is the process to obtain samples?
Let us know who referred you! Pooki's Mahi's growth is attributed to word of mouth sales (referrals).
Process for samples:
Pooki's Mahi requires a minimum of 5 lbs for coffee whole bean and matcha tea, 10-15 lbs for tea, 10 lbs for all other products.
- 3 sets of samples at 3 sizes (grams) for coffee or tea.
- 2 sets of samples at 1 size for all other products.
- Coffees and teas undergo a "weight" test. This ensures the machines has the same amount (grams) of coffee or tea.
- Sustainable coffee pods (mesh) with 2.0 single serve coffee maker lidding.
- Pooki's Mahi will provide the shipping labels to pick up coffees or teas and to ship the samples back to the customer.

Pooki's Mahi does not provide samples for packaging (the box itself).

6. Why is Pooki's Mahi private label single serves pricing tiers very high?
Pooki's Mahi private label single serve transparent pricing tiers are competitive with competitors that do not provide a complete pricing overview for all bill of materialsrequired for single serve manufacturing. Competitors that quote $0.29 to $0.39 for cheap single serve manufacturing do not add other Bill of Material costs like packaging, shipping Kona coffee or tea to the private label manufacturer, shipping finished goods to the final distribution center, labels, nutrition labels, certifications (BRC, Kosher, Fair Trade), nitrogen flushing, palletizing, touch points, etc. Pooki's Mahi's private label Kona coffee pods is not a fit for customers unable to meet the minimum requirements or cannot pay up front.  Pooki's Mahi's private label coffee pods is not a fit for customers looking to price out each bill of material component so they (customers) can bring their own bill of material components.  Customers buy the entire end-to-end Pooki's Mahi single serve teas or coffee pods solution. Pooki's Mahi's bill of material suppliers adhere to very high quality standards.  Buy Pooki's Mahi custom promotional products - lowest price for 2460 semi-designed custom Kona pods. 

7. Are the minimums negotiable?  
No.  Pooki's Mahi private label Kona coffee pods is not a fit for customers unable to meet the minimum requirements.  The pods price will double if a customer is insists on (single serve) manufacturing less than the minimum order quantities for custom promotional products or private label coffee pods.  Based on Pooki's Mahi's experience customers who are unable to meet the minimum requirements do not have an established sales channel or the budget and will nickle/dime every bill of material component; Pooki's Mahi loses money on the order due to effort spent (high touch).  Buy Pooki's Mahi custom promotional products -lowest price for 2460 semi-designed custom Kona coffee pods. 

8. Can I nickle/dime every bill of material component and bring my own (cheaper) supplier?  
No.  Pooki's Mahi abides to a strict supplier assessment to ensure all components will pass a strict FAI process after private label single serves are manufactured.  Pooki's Mahi is focused on manufacturing high quality private label coffee pods, supply chain excellence and operations excellence.  Pooki's Mahi built a supply chain with an operations organization that consistently excels.  Approved suppliers undergo a lengthy RFP assessment process.  

Pooki's Mahi's executive team will fire / terminate suppliers that flunk the assessment or fail to consistently meet score card standards or engage in cyber-bullying. 

Pooki's Mahi will not work with customers who nickle/dime every bill of material components or break the Zero Tolerance Cyber-bullying Policy. Pooki's Mahi will never make this type of customer happy; customer will engage in cyber-bullying and will always complain.

9. Can Pooki's Mahi manufacture white/plastic cups?
Yes - Not recommended.  Pooki's Mahi does not recommend white or black plastic cups; we'll manufacture non-environmentally friendly white/black plastic cups if the customer insists. Customer is killing the environment.  The minimums will not change.

We do not recommend this solution - you're killing the environment. Single serve coffee maker of low quality black or white or cups with (lead) lids confirms the cups are not recyclable. Soluable productsdoes not brew well in mesh cups. Pooki's Mahi refuses to manufacture sub-par quality single serve tea or coffee pods.
