NEWS: Pooki’s Mahi Improves Popular Hawaiian 100% Kona Coffee Decaf Pods Single Serves Addressing Poor Manufacturing Quality Issues

Single serve coffee maker Pooki’s Mahi announced today it launched an improved 100% recyclable environmentally friendly single serve cup for the popular 100% Kona coffee Decaf pods.

The original 100% Kona coffee DECAF single serves for Keurig coffee pods brewers did not meet Pooki’s Mahi’s high standard of quality. Customers logged multiple complaints:

1. Circular lid would explode in a variety of single serve brewers.
2. Actual cup is plastic and not recyclable.
3. The sides of the cup showed signs of melting near the lid area.
4. Unable to smell the coffee; assume the coffee is fresh.
5. Not expiration date or lot code at the cup level
6. The outside packaging did not protect the single serves.

Pooki’s Mahi terminated the partnership with the original manufacture. The new manufacture for Pooki’s Mahi’s environmentally friendly Hawaiian 100% Kona coffee cups has the capacity and has been producing the new line of 100% Kona coffees, 100% Hawaii coffee pods and Kona flavored coffee single serves since early 2015. Customers have given the new sustainable single serve cups very high ratings at several top online marketplaces.

“A lot of planning went into Pooki’s Mahi’s new product line, sustainable single serves for Hawaiian 100% Kona coffees and 10% Kona flavored coffees. I spent a lot of time listening to Pooki’s Mahi’s customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners and my executiveadvisors. We incorporated feedback from our distributors to protect the product, make it eco-friendly and easy to access. From our repeat customers we added a stronger roast and the ability to smell the coffee. Both decaffeinated Kona coffees were roasted in machines that are not in contact with wheat/gluten, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, eggs, milk or soy. Shipping to the Lower 48 States is included. The new sustainable cups are compatible with Keurig® coffee pods single serve cups brewers.
