The Silicon Valley food and beverage brand grew customer base and sales through referrals from existing customers on social media, existing network and word of mouth. Pooki’s Mahi® does not invest in advertising that will not convert immediately into long term sales. Examples of advertising Pooki’s Mahi avoid include but not limited to print ads, affiliate marketing, and advertising on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Snapchat. Pooki’s Mahi uses profile of existing customers to entice new coffee subscribers to purchase luxury 100% Kona coffee pods or capsules.
Pooki’s Mahi sources green Kona coffee beans from Kona coffee farmers through direct trade relationships. Each farm undergoes a strict supply chain review process. The Silicon Valley, high tech firm, collaborates with farms meeting minimum requirements like total acres used to grow Kona coffee, keeping agricultural inspections up to date, and uses a secure platform to process payments. The cost to increase Kona coffee beans and maintain coffee farms is high. 100% Kona coffee grown in Kona, Hawaii is expensive. Pooki’s Mahi is not in the business to cheapen the brand or 100% Kona coffee beans.
Pooki’s Mahi passes all prices increases associated with shipping, fulfillment, and pod manufacturing overhead costs to customers. FedEx is Pooki’s Mahi global transportation partner. Transportation and fulfillment companies have increased the price to fulfill and ship packaging every year. The cost of suitable raw materials to manufacture Kona coffee pods have also increased every year. Pooki’s Mahi increased the price for it’s Kona KaKao™ 100% Kona coffee pods due to a crop shortage. The 2018 crop for 100% Kona coffee is down by up to 25%.
Kona coffee subscribers buy Pooki’s Mahi Kona coffee pods either as a one-time purchase or monthly subscription. Customers are automatically subscribed to Pooki’s Mahi referral program. Coffee subscribers will receive an email with a link to the discount code; coffee subscribers forward emails to friends and colleagues. Customer earns a discount when a colleague makes a purchase.
Participating in Pooki’s Mahi Refer-A-Friend program is optional and not mandatory. Customers need to purchase a coffee subscription to earn five percent off at the next coffee subscription renewal. Existing coffee subscribers can refer an infinite number of friends. Wholesale Coffee Club members and VIP Reseller Distributors are not eligible to participate in the program. Pooki’s Mahi referral program applies to purchases made directly on https://subscriptions.pookismahi.com. Discount rewards cannot be converted into cash. Invitations to the Refer-A-Friend program are automatically sent to previous customers, active newsletter subscribers, and any individual or firm violating Pooki’s Mahi online policies.

Kona Coffee Pods Cost Guidelines
Pooki's Mahi™ passes additional fees to customers who buy from online retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Jet, Overstock, etc. Pooki's Mahi® approved one online retailer to sell our 100% Kona coffee pods close to the Wholesale Coffee Club price.
PookisMahi.com pricing: Cheap Kona coffee prices (subscriptions), lowest Kona coffee price for customers unable to commit to coffee subscriptions (wholesale coffee club), and Refer A Friend programs to earn additional discounts.
Additional Fees Passed To Customer: Fulfillment (10%), transportation, subscribe 'n save (10%), product listing maintenance/merchandising (15%), lightning deals or discounts (5%).
