Wholesale Updates: Emmys®, Updated Wholesale Price Lists & Free Shipping w/1-2 Days Delivery Coming to East Coast, South and Midwest

These updates impacts Pooki's Mahi's (Preferred) Wholesale customers.  No change to Pooki's Mahi's (overall) Wholesale customers.  If you're an approved Pooki's Mahi (Preferred) Wholesale Customer, then an email was sent on September 16th with the links.  

Summary of Wholesale (Preferred) Price List Changes: 

1. New Products Added: Pooki’s Mahi’s Wholesale (Preferred) Price List includes our 100% Kona Coffees (Royal Kona) and Hawaiian teas (Hawaiian Islands Tea) at 20% off.  The price reflects manufacturing overhead (Pick/Pack, Customs, Export).  These 100% Kona coffees and Hawaiian teas are in our Best Kona coffee subscriptions and consistently sell out.  We will not create a data file for these products.
2. 73% off -We’ve lowered our Wholesale Price for 100% Kona coffee pods (Regular and Decaf) to $35.99 ($1.49).  It's ~ 20% off from the $39.99 ($1.67) price.
3. Master Data Feed: We re-reviewed our master data file against Pooki’s Mahi’s systems and found calculations that were +/- the target 20%.  Providing 1 master data feed with the modified/added columns:
   1. Preferred Price: Represents the 20% off discount
   2. MSRP:  Manufactured Suggested Retail Price represents the fully loaded cost (products+manufacturing+shipping+fulfillment+promos)
   3. Est. Margin: Represents the estimated margin.  Preferred Wholesale Customers receive a flat 20%.  Some products are offered at the 25% or 73% discounted price.
   4. Product Line:  Represents the “category” for the products.  IE:  Single Serves, Loose Leaf Tea, Snacks.

Emmys® Recap & Key Wins
Pooki’s Mahi’s 100% Kona coffee (Regular and Decaf) was a smashin’ hit at Honoring The Emmys® event.  ~100 Celebrities provided additional endorsements and sponsorships. We’ve kicked off collaboration efforts on future projects (product placements into TVs, movies and future red carpet events).  We’ll upload several commercial-grade videos soon!

Summary – New Product Launches & PookisMahi.com Changes:
Returned from visiting Kona coffee farms - meetings with our product roasters and manufacturers to lay the foundation for 2015’s new business lines and product launches.  We receive ~25 pitches a month to showcase Pooki’s Mahi’s products at various events (charity, TV/movie red carpet premiers, etc.).  We don’t need to be everywhere.
 

Coming Soon: 

1. Free Shipping with 1-2 Day Delivery:  Coming to the East Coast, South and parts of the Mid-west.  We currently have 4 hrs-2 days (average) delivery to the West Coast, Southwest, Pacific Northwest and parts of the Mid-west.
2. Free Shipping within Canada: Finalizing all legal requirements required to offer our products in Canada with free shipping.  This will help our Canadian-based wholesalers, private label and corporate customers.  Currently wholesale customers need to spend $500 for free shipping (and use a code). 
3. Private Label - Pilot (Private Beta):  Kicked off the second round of Pooki’s Mahi’s Private Label channel; working to finalize the product list.  Single Serve products will be available for Private Label. 

1. Current products for the private label line include:
   1. 100% Kona coffee pods (Regular/Decaf)
   2. 10% Kona Coffee flavored Blends (Vanilla Macadamia, Toasted Coconut, White Truffle Strawberry)
   3. Maui Mokka
   4. Maui Mokka+100% Kona (new blend – not released yet)
   5. Award-Winning Teas (White Coconut Crème, Pineapple Kona Hero, Berry Manga Tulsi, Lychee Peach, Honey Hibiscus, Passion Fruit, Mango, Mandarin Silk Oolong)
2. Two pricing options covering product costs, packaging design, SKU, fulfillment (order, returns, drop ship) at a per cup level with zero monthly recurring costs.
3. Low Minimums (150 units)

5. Target Launch: Before June 2015

Pooki's Mahi's 5 Pricing Tiers - Explanation (by feature) on Pooki’s Mahi's pricing tiers.  Includes discount levels and qualification for retail, wholesale, disty (distributor) and private label.  Provide a better understanding on requirements by each tier.  The higher the discount (ie: disty) bigger and more consistent orders (by month) are required for forecasting.
3. Dedicated Customer Success Team to handle sales operations (IM/chat, phone calls) for faster order processing.
4. Migrating 5K+ product reviews from all sales channels to PookisMahi.com
5. Pooki's Mahi's 100% Kona coffee single serve cups that work in 2.0 Keurig coffee pods single serve brewers.
