Pooki's Mahi has met or beaten 2013's original goals. All the hard work continues to pay off. A few of our memorable moments and key wins included:
Pooki's Mahi's Brown Rock Sugars named #2 on Amazon's Best Sellers List (Brown Sugar) and #3 on Amazon's Gift List as of 12/15/2013.
Beat 2012's revenue (Spring) and moved into a new Fulfillment HQ. Free Shipping with products arriving 2-Days (West Coast/Mid-West), 4-5 days (East Coast) is one of our competitive advantages.
None of these accomplishments would have been possible without our loyal customer base, business partners and product suppliers. Y'all were instrumental to Pooki's Mahi's successes. On behalf of Pooki's Mahi's executive advisors, I wish y'all a berry merry Pooki's Winter Holidays.

The road to creating Pooki’s Mahi as a brand and company has had its challenges. I quit my leadership role at a public high tech cloud company to focus on Pooki’s Mahi. The concept of Pooki’s Mahi began in 2010. Pooki's Mahi™ is bridging the gap between product development and launch by implementing an e-commerce solution complete with supply chain management, distribution and channels.

To launch a brand (for any product) story telling through Infographics or visuals are key. A valuable lesson I learned in launching the Pooki’s Mahi brand last year. Visual Ads with succinct info (such as discounts, amount, product, disclaimers) were shared and liked in my network faster than “pure content” (text only.) Read on for great insights from M Booth and SimplyMeaure’s infographic.
Looking back at 2012 my teams (in high tech and my own ventures) and I accomplished a lot. Stepping back there were quite a few memorable moments that affected all of us. Yi Ying Lu designed a great inforgraphic for Visual.ly. Well done and ‘nuff said.
If you NPI (New Product Introduction) a product it has to be one that you know very well (from concept → development → launch) including the CoGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and P&L (Profit & Loss). After all you have to be the lead sales exec who will tell a fantastic story, entice customers to buy and to keep costs in line. Believing in the product and its ability for profit is key. Why promote something you don’t believe it? Read on for the infographic…
If you NPI (New Product Introduction) a product it has to be one that you know very well (from concept → development → launch). After all you have to be the lead idea person, develop it and eventually be the sales executive. Believing in the product is key. Hawaii has produced some of the best coffees in the world. Kona is one of two world famous coffee growing regions. The second is Jamaica’s Blue Mountain. It’s the only state in America which is able to grow and harvest coffee commercially. In the US the top 10 cash crops are marijuana, corn, soybeans, hay, vegetables, wheat, cotton, grapes, apples and rice. Been heads down launching a new brand as part of the The PMO Practice portfolio. To launch any brand a solid foundation and understanding of the industry and space is required. In this case the industry is agriculture (crops) and the delivery vehicle is high-tech. Both can be checked off in Pooki’s Mahi’s case. The Pooki’s Mahi brand is only interested in coffees and teas that have won prestigious awards. No one can tell a better story than being a key family member that founded a walnut co-op (which is now a Fortune 50 company) or someone who lives/breathes high tech by founding a technology that is now the baseline to manage product lifecycle management. Read on for insight to the products’ main source and the $12B industry.
Key Lesson: The Product Manager (the very good ones have a strong background in supply chain management) not only designed the product for TTV but took into account any DF* Rules. Be a product person and don't "design" a product that does not meet the four NPI rules.
